Abstract
This study examines how smart contracts reduce information asymmetry and improve performance in Chinese air cargo logistics companies by mediating forecasting inaccuracies. Using online surveys from 11 firms, it highlights smart contracts’ role in enhancing efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and stakeholder collaboration. While limited to China, the findings offer a practical framework for digital innovation adoption. Future research should expand geographically and across sectors to validate and extend these insights.
