Abstract

The pedagogical landscape of traditional pipa instruction faces persistent obstacles arising from limited qualified instructors, standardized teaching methodologies, and insufficient responsiveness to diverse learner profiles. This research develops a comprehensive framework leveraging information technology to facilitate individualized learning experiences and strengthen intangible cultural heritage preservation within pipa education. The work is positioned as a conceptual framework study, complemented by a numerical simulation of projected framework outcomes. Core components include performance diagnostic systems employing acoustic signal processing for technique evaluation and customized practice guidance, diverse digital learning materials encompassing annotated notation and multidimensional video demonstrations, and stratified pedagogical approaches responsive to varying competency levels. Heritage-focused curriculum design prioritizes contextual presentation of compositional histories, distinctive characteristics of major performance schools, and foundational aesthetic concepts informing authentic interpretation. Systematic implementation requires attention to instructor technological capacity building, assessment protocols synthesizing quantitative metrics with qualitative artistic judgment, and collaborative mechanisms for shared resource development. The simulation illustrates medium to large effect sizes across technical, artistic, and heritage knowledge indicators, as a reference point for subsequent empirical validation. The resulting pedagogical ecosystem establishes technology as enabling infrastructure that complements established transmission methods while safeguarding artistic authenticity. This approach offers a pathway toward sustained preservation of pipa heritage through educationally informed practice.
